SMA, BYD Battery-Box-H10, 10.24kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate)

This SMA Sunny Boy storage bundle is comprised of the 10.24 kWh BYD Battery-Box (B-Box) HV Lithium Ion with battery control unit (BCU), and 200A Automatic Back-up Unit. Designed with the safe lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery chemistry, the B-Box is the ideal battery storage solution for residential and commercial applications. This 10.24kWh system is made up of (x8) 1.28kW lithium (LiFePO4) battery stacks and the BMU which forms the base and top section of the package. The BYD B-Box HV comes in sections to allow you to build the battery to your required power. As an expandable system, it allows for a lower cost of entry into self-consumption/energy storage from your solar PV array allowing you to build up the battery system over time. 

The high-voltage Battery-Box HV is a flexible battery with a modular design that does not have internal cables. Designed for easy installation, it allows for the connection of 5 to 9 battery modules, with the option of adding up to 5 HV Battery-Boxes in parallel. The battery capacity can therefore vary from 6.4 to 57.6kWh. 

The B-Box's LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery chemistry is known as one of the safest battery technologies in today's market. LiFePO4 chemistry features stable structures and its thermal runaway temperature is over 480℃.

With its high power capacity, the B-Box system has enough power to be installed in all applications, whether it is connected to the grid, remote off-grid, or used as a battery backup. The BYD Battery-Box HV has been certified according to international standards including TUV, UL and CE, and is backed by a 10-year warranty.
